Only maintaining economy= no protection from the enemy armies (exepct maybe a little from your allies). In the War Cheifs expansion, there are 3 extra: Aztec, Iroquois The objective of the game is to defeat the enemy with a strong military, but whilst maintaining a good economy.

In AOE3, there are 8 civilizations to choose from: Dutch, British, Ottoman, Russians, Spanish, Germans, Portuguese, and French. AOE 3 is a real time strategy game that requires quick thinking, fast mouse moving, and patience. I have an obsession for AOE (Let's just call it that okay?).
